A new national jobs website officially launched last week with more than 5,000 jobs available for people seeking entry-level jobs.
SpotJobs.com has been a Beta test website for the past four months and in that time has had 10,000 jobs committed to the site by more than 200 top Australian companies.
SpotJobs.com managing director Lewis Romano said traffic to the site had been phenomenal.
“There are now 10,000 people a day visiting the site. With recent announcements by companies retrenching staff we have seen a spike in job applications to more than 1,000 per day up from 500 just two weeks ago.”
SpotJobs.com has 229 companies listing jobs on its website including well-known brands such as Coles, Woolworths, Telstra, Optus, Red Rooster, The Just Group, Pizza Hut and many more.
“We’ve seen a sharp rise in job seekers signing up and based on last week it would average 30,000 a month. Since our beta launch on October 31, more than 25,000 jobs have been applied for at Australia’s biggest and best-known brands.
“That equates to 1,000 new job seekers signing up per day and on average 100 new jobs a day being filled.”
Spotjobs.com has been marketed through Facebook and Google and already has 19,000 Facebook fans.
Dedicated to the entry-level jobs space, SpotJobs.com is a national service with a staff of 10 working around the clock to help underemployed or unemployed people looking for flexible work options.
SpotJobs.com is an easy, credible and socially enabled work platform that consolidates employment options including those jobs that are not traditionally available online as well as streamlining the application process.
“Current employment sites focus on the longer-term career while Spotjobs.com is a platform that has a system of unique search filters that helps find and connect the very best applicants for a potential job.
“Importantly SpotJobs.com has the best jobs for those looking for entry level work.”
